Similarly to ChangeTracker, it can compare files (and supports more formats), but you do not need to install it on your computer, just upload your files to the web site. You can try by clicking this link.
But there is much more that that… Apart from comparing files, TQAuditor can be used by the agencies to assess the translation quality of each job, give feedback to the translators, enable anonymous discussions of mistakes, and generate corporate quality reports on each translator. So it lets the translation agency to keep the records of all mistakes done by the translators, train them and watch how/if the quality of their job improves over time.
Light version. You can compare multiple file pairs and export the comparison report to Excel. You need to register light account for that. It’s free.
Enterprise version. This one is for translation agencies which need an effective system to provide quality feedback to the translators, train them, and watch over their performance and progress closely. You need to register enterprise account for that.
This year the Gala Conference will be held in Amsterdam, from March 26 to 29, 2017. Technolex, represented by CEO Igor Marach, will also attend this event. You can meet with him there and discuss the possibility of cooperation in the field of translations into Russian and Ukrainian.
Technolex will participate together with Vladimir Kukharenko, representative of Protemos, which this time is the sponsor of the event.
Our software partner, Protemos LLC has recently released version 1.18 of the system. The most important features includes:
SmartCAT integration. We’ve integrated Protemos with SmartCAT; so now, if you’re using both systems, you don’t need to create the same project in 2 systems manually. You just need to create the project in Protemos and then quickly create a copy of it for SmartCAT.
Protemos became a sponsor of GALA conference in Amsterdam: https://www.gala-global.org/conference/annual-conference-2017-amsterdam/sponsors
GALA's annual Language of Business conferences are conducted from 2009. It is the advanced educational and networking events where language sector stakeholders collectively discuss best practices, common challenges, emerging trends, and industry technologies, and, of course, contact each other.
