Currently translate more than 2.5 million words (or 10000 pages) per month for our customers. This is equivalent to 30 books.

80% of that volume is for customers who have been using our services for more than a year. This customer loyalty is evidence that we have long-since established ourselves as a trusted provider of  translation services.

Our history

Our history

As mentioned above, we started in 2010. At that time, the founders of the company already had years of experience in translation and localization industry. So it did not take long to start growing really fast. At the end of 2013, we were 6th in a ranking of the largest translation agencies in Ukraine. In 2014, we raised our ranking to 4th place.

In 2015, we started travelling to translation business conferences around the world and establishing relations with the top MLVs of the global translation industry. Since then, we are attending 5-10 conferences a year, which makes us be aware of the most recent trends in the industry and keeps us connected with our colleagues worldwide.

Apart from providing translation services, in 2014 we started developing software tools for translation companies, Protemos and TQAuditor. First we made them for ourselves, but in 2017 we release them to global market, and Protemos was separated as independent company. Now, hundreds of translation companies worldwide are using our tools.

We had constant growth every year except for 2015 (and that made us change to better). Even in 2022, when the war in Ukraine started, we did not drop, and in 2023 we even grew again.  Currently, as far as we know, we have the biggest production capabilities in Ukraine, the most competent management team, the best-trained team of linguists. We see the challenges and opportunities posed by the new technologies.

our history

Our Journey

We are a premium translation agency with over 10 years of experience in the language industry. We offer high-quality translation, localization, and interpretation services in over 100 languages, working with clients from various industries and sectors. We have a network of professional and experienced linguists who deliver accurate, reliable, and culturally relevant translations for every project.

2010

The company was founded in 2010. Each of the co-founders already had many years of experience working in the industry. Consequently, from day one the company’s priorities were clearly defined, allowing us to become a serious player in the translation market even in our first year in business.

2011

Our team initially consisted of 4 people. For nearly a year we didn’t have an office and coordinated our activities via Skype. In March 2011, we moved into an office with a team of about ten people. We were already in great need of more personnel, because our customers valued the quality of our work and were sending us more and more orders.

In 2011, we started developing ChangeTracker (www.change-tracker.com), an application for tracking editorial corrections in translations. Once the application was ready, we didn’t hide it.
We released it as freeware for use by all, translation agencies, translators, and editors.

2012

Over the next three years we moved to new offices twice in order to accommodate our expanding team. Today our company’s work involves roughly 100 full-time employees and freelancers.

2013

At the end of 2013 we were 6th in a ranking of the largest translation agencies in Ukraine. It’s worth mentioning that within this ranking we were 2nd in our market segment.

2014

In 2014 we raised our ranking to 4th place among the largest translation agencies in Ukraine.

2015

2015 was full of events for Technolex. We became members of two translation associations: ELIA (European Language Industry Association) and ATA (American Translators Associations). Technolex participated in several translation industry conferences: LocWorld and ELIA’s Networking Days. Additionally, the Technolex Translation Studio brand was registered as a trademark, and we moved to our new office due to our continued expansion and an increase in staff.

2016

The year 2016 was a breakthrough for us in both marketing and sales. Technolex visited six industry conferences: LocWorld 2016 in Dublin, UTIC 2016 in Dnipro, ELIA ND Focus for Executives in Mallorca, Tekom’s tcworld conference 2016 in Stuttgart, ELIA ND Brussels and ELIA ND Focus Barcelona. Moreover, Technolex participated as a speaker at three conferences.

Today

In 2010, we translated around 2 million words, but in 2023, we translated 30 million words. This means our company has grown 15-fold in about 13 years

We achieved these results without resorting to aggressive marketing tactics or by actively searching for customers. Clients who used our services became our regular customers and recommended us to others. We’ve acquired many new customers when employees of our current clients move to another company and recommend us to their new management. Thus, meeting customers’ expectations has become our main sales strategy.
